Soffit and fascia
Soffit vents the attic. Fascia holds the gutter. New siding under a rotten fascia looks finished for a season.
What we look for
Stained eaves, birds or squirrels in the soffit, and a gutter pulling away from the board. Those are the reasons the roofline is on the same bid as the wall.
